Kanex Ai1 sees the image (Claude vision) and can reason about UI bugs, screenshots of errors, charts, etc. Supports jpeg/png/gif/webp up to 5 MB each. Non-image attachments (PDFs etc.) get noted by filename but not loaded — binary analysis is a later phase. Try: take a screenshot on iPhone → share to Mail → send to [email protected] with "what's wrong with this?" in the body. PHASE B — CODE_TASK (live, owner-only) New tool: Kanex Ai1 can invoke Claude Code on dev VPS with full Read/Edit/Write/Bash access inside /home/claude/kanex/. Owner-only ([email protected]); APPROVE-gated with 8-char code + 30-min TTL + single-use. After Claude's run, the wrapper auto-rebuilds + restarts the api container. Try: email [email protected] from [email protected] (or voice) something like: "add a /debug/agent endpoint that returns current agent session count" Agent proposes the code_task with your instructions. Reply APPROVE xxxxxxxx. Wrapper runs claude on dev VPS, edits files, rebuilds, restarts. Reply comes back with Claude's output. KNOWN LIMITATION (for tonight): /home/claude/kanex on dev VPS is NOT yet git-backed — it's tarball-deployed. That means code_task edits happen on VPS but don't auto-commit to GitHub. Changes persist on dev VPS until the next tarball deploy clobbers them. To get true auto-deploy-like-VS-Code, I need to migrate dev VPS to a git clone. That requires: 1. You create a GitHub fine-grained PAT with push access to kanex1/kanex-ai 2. Paste the token in a reply: "GITHUB_PAT <token>" — I'll stash it in .env on VPS only 3. I run the git clone migration (backs up .env + data, clones fresh, swaps) 4. After that: every code_task auto-commits + pushes to origin/main too Send the PAT when ready — I'll do the migration in 10 min. OWNER-ONLY ENFORCEMENT (hard gate) Only [email protected] can invoke code_task. Any other sender (authenticated @kanexpro.com staff, future hires) hitting the agent won't see or be able to use this tool — propose() raises ValueError with message "owner-only (requires [email protected])". Role check fires BEFORE action_id + HMAC generated, so no approve-code ever gets issued to non-owner.
